2007 Holiday

I Love holidays.....

I love travelling...

We were suppose to travel to Bangkok but due to some complications, we took a route change to Singapore. My 4th time there but its still a holiday.

Instead of spending RM800 per pax on air ticket, we kept the money for shopping and took a snoozer bus down. The seats were very comfortable, all attached with personal TV....only RM80 down and $55 back.

I was awake almost the whole night, trying to fall asleep, trying to ignore Aaron's thundering snore. Arrived 7.30am, super tired but excited.

So we took a cab to the Hotel @ Belmoral Rd. Check in our luggage and according to the cab driver, Orchard road is within walking distance, gosh did we get cheated, we walked for 45 mins, tired and hungry till we reached Sommerset station......Aaron needed to refuel desperately, so coffee club was our choice.

Jazz Fest 08

We had an awesome time. Great music, great company.

We were blessed to have a free hotel stay @ parkroyal, man did we have a blast. the beds were extreamly comfortable, thinking of it makes my eyes droopy again.

This was our amazing view from the balcony. Ahhh.....so serene.

Christmas, Christmas.....so love it. Spending time with Family, its wonderful.

Im out of mood to work, zilch. LOL....whats new with Sharon huh. Will try to load some pics by today.

A whole month??

Sharon has not blogged for a whole month.

Didnt even realize a month has gone by, so quickly i must say

So many things has happened in Nov, busy as a bee.

-Well I finished my Jazz Bronze Exam, results will only be out in 08.

- Dance for a wedding @ G-hotel and got Angpow

- Went to Camerons for SWYF outing

-A whole lot of work junk has been completed

- Purchased my tickets to Singapore

- Falling sick 3 times

- Enjoying myself in the International Ballroom Competition

- Preparing my leave for Christmas

(Its the most wonderful time of the YEAR!!!!)

- Downloading series and movies....OooooOoo, so addictive.

- Jazz Fest is TOMORROW!!

The year is ending, so I'm gonna enjoy myself....unwind a lil, take a chill pill, look back at the events that took place and let next year worry on its own.

my hands on it. USD17.95 - about rm60, still affordable but the only catch it we ordered from Amazon. You can ask Borders to get it in but it'll be more pricey...shipping.

The reality of how society has sexualize women is shocking. Women are viewed as objects where they are gawked at. Whose fault is it? MANY - MEDIA (primarily), uneducated parents, peer pressure,......(it goes on)

Dictionary.com defines "sexy" as

adjective
1. marked by or tending to arouse sexual desire or interest; "feeling sexy"; "sexy clothes"; "sexy poses"; "a sexy book"; "sexy jokes" [ant: unsexy]
2. Exciting sexual desire [syn: aphrodisiac] [ant: anaphrodisiac]

So the question is why would we want to dress sexily to arouse?? And who are we arousing?? Go look up on "Modesty" , do a research, find out more.

What is the repercussion of us not practicing modesty?? It applies to both men and women.

Just at the time when I need it the most. Beautiful isn't it? Thats our wonderful creator.

I took this after work on thursday at the carpark. Clicking my camera away. Feeling happy to see a full and clear rainbow. And yet I saw engineers not even bothered to be awed by this rainbow. I dont expect people to be like 'jacoon' but it surprises me that they dont take time to cherish lil things like these.

Sad.

Feel so sorry for them. Their world revolves around them.
