So the craze for tea has not stopped. This is also one of my Favorite teas. 'Xi Mut' milk tea.

I drank this tea like twice a day when I was in Hong Kong. I have tried this tea in many places, but the best still goes to Old town....for only RM3.++ Its dang affordable.

BUT i must warn you, this drink is dangerously fattening.....wont hurt if its once a week right? So drink and exercise.

I'll be going for Jazz Gold tomorrow, it'll definitely burn off.

Crazy Cravings for Peach Tea

I know....crazy right??

Even since the heat craze started, I've been thirsting for Peach Tea. No reasons to why a women craves but it quenches my thirst.

So...I've been drinking cold Snapple (Its lovely)...

But.....

I still prefer Twinings, maybe coz its pure black tea and I dont add sugar. Quite cautious on not pounding the weight on flavored drinks. Now Twinings peach tea is super difficult to find. Any idea where I can find them? I last got it from Macao.

We hear it so often that Valentines is too commercialized.

Do you agree?? I definitely do. BUT we do not need to succumb to what is laid on the table. Just celebrate it the most special way one feels.....may it be couples or families or friends.

For those who dont mind joining in the crowd, by all means....knock yourself out coz there are no hard and fast rule as to how Valentines should be celebrated.

So personally, this is how I like mine to be or how we celebrated.... ( a lil bit chaotic because of CNY celebrations).

8:00am - Rise & Shine
9:00am - Church
10.30am - Visited Mom & Dad for breakfast (1st day of Chinese New Year)
- Yackity yack yack,
- Watched Astro (Deprived at the moment coz we have yet to install)
1.30pm - Of to Aaron's parents house
- Yackity yack yack again
- Had Tea
- Watch more Astro
(By this time the heat was taking a toll on us)
8.00pm - Left for our house to shower & change
8.45pm - Wrap aaron's present & made him a simple card
9.30pm - Gave aaron his prezzie
9.45pm - Left home for Gurgey
10.04om - Arrived at Chillis

History: Every Valentines after our meal, we will take a stroll down gurney drive....chatting while allowing our full meal to be digested, Feeling Thankful for each other, people watching....especially those new love birds & not forgetting being a 'Fashion Police'...laughing at weird, like seriously weird dressing.

- Farely quiet this year, not much traffic -

- And we took the time to wish our friends who were celebrating this auspicious 'Year of the Tiger' Gong Xi, Gong Xi -

- Mr. Xavier loves taking candid shots of his Mrs. -

- Beautiful fireworks to semi-end the night -

After which, we headed to star bucks for a cold drink

Mini Envelope Pocket

From a tutorial I learned from apieceofcraft.com. Its super easy and this was my first attempt. I just used some scrap paper from my stash. Added a pink bling from Daiso. And I love the cute elephant, just some random puffy stickers bought from bookstores.

I made a tag to go in the pocket. This photo is 2" by 2". I stuck the photo on some scrap pieces saved from packaging, made it look like a mini polaroid. I love it!! Those alpha stickers are from making memoris....super cute! The butterfly bling is from the art shop i visited last week. Really like how it turned out.

This is how it looks with the tag in the pocket. So cute right?? yeay!! Am happy with the results! Will definitely make more. Maybe a mini album full of pockets?? Well I need to find the time for it. (=

Some items I purchased from Daiso and local art stores. I love stationaries. Even when I was little girl, never was intrigued by candies but I love love, stationary shops. LOL!

Stamps, where have you been?

Its been a long long time since I saw stamps on parcels. I was truly happy when Aaron gave me the whole envelope. I tried looking for my stamps album, which i so fervently collected during my school days but cant find it. Sad! Anyways I was still happy to get these Hong Kong Stamps out.

Step 1: Cut out the stamps and soak in water.

Step 2: Leave overnight and vohla, it will detached from the envelope.

Step 3: Dry the stamps.

Will use them for a mini album I have in mind....but will only work on it next year, as we'll only be going to Hong Kong next year.

Disney land!!! I'm so looking forward to meeting you.

Delicious scrap goodies from Bona

I am praying so hard to win this. This whole basket will cost around RM300-400 (its a whole lot of money). Those outside of Malaysia, its actually dollar to dollar value. For example, one whole meal in Mcdonalds cost RM8.90....so dollar to dollar value, scrapbooking in Malaysia is extreamly expensive.

...but, but...i still love to craft. I've collected a mini stash of goodies, mostly those to sale items.

My productive weekend

1. Started of on Friday. It was terrible a hot day and I decided to pull over near Little India and have an Ice Cream. Hilarious scene, coz it was a busy road.

2. Super hot day continued to Sat, and we stop by to have some Shaven Ice..."Cendol".

3. Took these cute girls out for lunch. Celebrated Mel's belated birthday. We ate a lot!

BTW, these cute tops are from Greeen Bananas. (=

4. After lunch, we took a stroll to an old looking art supply shop. Be sure to have wet wipes if you visit them. I bought some bling, colored pen and some vintage looking rub-ons. Mel bought some stuff too.

5. Bought about 30 pieces of children's vintage books and a vintage type writter for a total of RM30 (Approx: USD9). What a good deal right? Will photograph it later.

6. Meet up with some girlfriends for dinner. Had our favorite meat balls 'Bah Kut Teh'. Yummy! and we had some girl talk. Fun!

7. Woke up later on Sunday..(11.30am). Went to Aaron's, had lunch, talk, played with his niece, KNIT (probably like 5-6 rows only), then talk and talk and talk.

8. Came back home and decided to scrap a lil. This is what I did. Have not completed writting my dreams yet, it'll come!

I love the puffy butterflies....and the huge one says Dreams come true, perfect for this page.!

9. Doddled a little. Nasty ones. LOL!

10. Blog hopping to other crafty blogs to get inspired even more. I love Elsie's blog.

My deep love for Starbucks. How can I resist? So glad I found you.

To my amazement, this Vinyl thickers from American crafts stick pretty well to the sketch paper. Previously it was peeling off. I had a blast working with them. I used this super cute green paper from October Afternoon, it had robots on the other side.
And the rest were packaging and coffee sleeves. Love how it turned out.

This picture is the perfect set-up of how my time in starbucks will be, totally relaxed with yellow lights and Jazz music....ahhhh perfecto!

....to Scrapbook journal. Always wanted to start something about 'ME', but as usual always too busy to start. Last night, I reached home around 12.00am, washed up and my Greeen Bananas work starts...not too many orders last night, so called it a night. Then I was looking at my messy craft space and decided I should at least start something.....and I did.

Pat on the shoulders! Good job.

I bought this Acid Free sketch book in Borders...for like RM3.50? Its cheap. Cant believe that we can actually get acid free stuff in our bookstores...Total happiness. I know the cover is a little off, will decorate it later.

TADA!!!! My first page. This is me....Sharon Cornelius. Used a 5R pic, chosed something candid. I love this pic.

Confession: I have bad bad handwritting, or least I do not think it looks artsy enough. So I found some old stickers lying around in my stash and decided to make the best of what I can find. I love how random the stickers are....perfect!

Some lace ribbon i bought in Bangkok, and my unopened pack of chipboard letters. Finally got to use them. Used a border sticker trip as well.

Love the cupcakes....sweet and adorable. I got them 50% off from Smidapaper.

Good Morning Bangkok! What a fantastic view of the city from the Executive floor.

Who would not wake up on the right side of bed if you have a wonderful view?

My Mix breakfast, smoked salmon, salmon sushi, ham, english sausage with cheese on tomato.
And not photograph was my butter and honey waffle. Super yummy!

The Climb

Am not quite a fan of Miley Cyrus but I love this song. Youtube it!

Its true, it doesnt matter where your destination is, its how you get there counts. Am struggling with so many decision making......so many mountains in my life.

I cant even see whats beyond 100 meters in my life. I have a bad habbit to worry of the next problem, I find it hard to savor the present moment. One thing I do know is that God is beside me, climbing every mountain that comes along.

Sometimes we want to control our loved ones, we want them to be in the safe zone.....afraid of letting them fall into shit holes....but who am I to know if there is a shit hole waiting? For all I know it could be a gold mine. The human side of me is worried sick but as a christian, I should trust God, maybe He wants to deal with them. Every adult is capable of making their own decisions, after which they have to be responsible to accepting the consequences.

I gotta back out.....

Tough battle with oneself.

I love waking up on Monday mornings without having to step into motorola.... Steping into that building makes me gloomy.

Anyways I shall not think about that today, will only be back at work on wednesday. (great happiness!!!!)

Both mom & I followed dad to bangkok for his business trip. Tons of shopping with great food and a lovely hotel. We're waiting to head off to Siam Square to shop....in the mean time, am blogging from my itouch from the executive floor. Love love being on holiday.

I miss my dear Aaron.... Wish he was here doing breakfast with me overseeing this fantastic view of the city.

Yeay, Yeay, Yeay! Happiness. My very first pair of Crocs. Bought it on Mother's day, when I took Aaron's mom for a pedicure treat. After being pampered for 2.5 hours, I was ready for some shoes. HeHe. Since it was mother's day....they gave me a free heart embelishment also I could also pick one. I chose a bling. (**SMILES**) totally satisfied.

This pic is closer to the actual color. I could have gone for the normal boring pastel....but I wanted something that 'Pops'. And this was the closest to red. Oh and I booked another pair of Gold print leopards. It looked really cute.

Greeen Bananas @ A:Fair Weekend Bazaar

Fra la la lalala....

This is my second time setting up a booth, and again totally last minute. Decided only last night around 8.30pm. Sheryl could not get her friend to share the stall with her so she's left alone....so the big sis decided to keep her company, since we'll be celebrating cousin Miks birthday too.

Bazaars like these are fun but super tiring. I stayed up till 2am, picking only a suitcase full of goodies to sell (not so convenient travelling by bus and lugging everything by yourself). I also labeled the price tags....thank God i had left over tags made from Time Square Booth. Packing hangers, plastic bags, scissors, clips....all the nitty gritty to make your stall look cute.

It'll be a fun fun time. Two sisters, totally different styles and taste colaborating a stall. If you're in KL, do drop by ok, theres something for everybody. Yeay! Toodles.

Happy Monday Ship-offs

Am always happy to ship something off on mondays. At least I'm making sales weekly. Praise God!

Somehow I miraculously woke up at 7.30am. Slept at 11pm. Totally exhausted from the weekend.

Left home at 8.15am to get my car to workshop. Whats interesting is the workshop was opposite the main Police station, and they had lorry loads of policemen. We had breakfast at the same place......dont know why, but kinda intimidating to be among them. One of them asked me to join them for breakfast....LOL! strange guy. Anyways I should get back to my boring work load.

...Its to learn how to knit!! Yeay!

I was practically alone last night....some of my friends went to catch a movie, some Japanese show but I wasnt too keen. Decided to have a lil 'ME time'......which doesnt come by often.

I could have stayed at home and relax but I was itching to do something. So I drove to queensbay, went to the yarn shop and decided to knit something. The clases are free, so just buy 3 yarns from them and you're set to go. The whole thing cost me about RM85 including the needles.

I must say I had a tough 2 hours trying to knit. Its not as simple as it looks. So so....my first project will be a cotton scarf. Pardon the pic below....this is just trial knit. Its also one of the uglist knitting piece I've ever seen. LOL! The lady will start my actual scarf today, after work. Yiippie! Hopefully it'll be a pretty piece.

- I have about 3 wholes in that piece with crooked knits! LOL!..-

P/S: Am really glad I started crafting! It makes me so so happy to make something! Watch out....a very crafty girl is about to be unleashed. (=

Its Easter Sunday!! Blessed Easter!

It is also 12th April. Our anniversary.......*Smiles*

I had an amazing day. Slept only at 6am (Gosh, I've not slept this late ever since I reduced clubbing), woke up 12pm.....took about 1 1/2 hours to make Aaron a card then had lunch at 2pm(Yummy german saussages with bacon, beans and eggs). Showered. Aaron picked me up at 4pm to his place. Had tea with orange cake (baked by Aaron's sis). Then played with Baby Desirae....awww...she was really cute. Then Aaron's sis in law was surfing for Sarees....LOL! I joined in the fun.

After which we made a move to celebrate our special day...... I was too full to stomach any solid food. So we picked Crepe Cottage. Its a lovely spot.

What a messy scrap table I have, and it was just cleaned few hours ago. Inspired or mental block? I need a clean space to feel inspired. Do you see the cute 4x4 canvas? Well I'm gonna transformed that into a cute anniversary gift. Wish me luck....am not really good in painting.

I'm loving this set of Rub-ons from Maya Road. Was thinking of using it to make a card. Am obsessed with OWLS! They are super cute. So tihckers for the canvas and rub-ons for the card.

Whats with my obsession??

Lets hope they are not just looking pretty and function wise sucky. One of my best digital camera was Konica Minolta x50 retailed at RM1500 (Back in 2004) . Quality of the pics were soooo good...but it died on me in 2007. I miss you!!

Now im using a hopeless Kodak. Please do not...I warn...DO NOT get Kodaks if you're a fussy pic lover like me!

An afternoon date..

Feels darn good to be out on a date again. We've both been terribly busy, meetings after meetings, appointments after appointments, functions......I'm glad we got to spend the afternoon together....watching "Confessions of a shopperholic'.....then a lil shopping (LOL!).....then dinner.. then Gellato (YUMMMY!), cud not get my fav flavor, pistachio...so i settled for Maccadamia.

I dislike sunday evenings. The thought of going back to work the next day sucks! So I love being in an alfresco area, watching the sun set....in a way it does make me feel better. Try it.

My blog is looking a lil strange

Wonder what happened?!, the layout seems to be different.

I miss blogging terribly. Finally, having some time alone ....just to chill and relax after being heavily drugged. Right now I have painkillers and antibiotic running in my blood streams. If you're wondering why? Well, I pulled my back and neck mucles on sunday while trying to repossition a 17kg luggage bag...its probably the worst I've gotten, so now i am restricted to limited movements with slight robotic grace. And to top it up, my toe is suffering from secondary bacteria infection (so it was told by the doctor) causing my walks to be a pain. So the reason of having time alone is because I'm too drugged to leave the house...LOL! I guess its a blessing in disguise. Been dying to get some rest or more importantly getting some quality time alone.

I wish that I could freeze the time and enjoy the day as it passes. Its almost mid march and it feels like 2009 just came, freeky!

Sigh! So far 2009 has been a great year, but I just need to slow it down a little. (= I strongly believe that this is a special year for me.

MY iPod touch. Writing this post from the itouch. It's so cool that I can't get enough of it.

2am and I'm still blogging......all from the comfort of my bed. Will it make me lazy? I hope not. This is the first time ever for me to fall in love with a gadget so much. Go get one yourself, absolutely no regrets.

Anyways I better snooze soon. Need to wake up early to pack my bag for kl. Yes another trip. I've been travelling back and forth for more than 3 times in a month. I just wanna chill at home!

No kiddin, today is the 8th day day of 2009. Am still in a daze...all the fuss and huss from being ill. I made a bin full of tissue 'wanton's' (chinese dumplings) today. Compared to monday, I feel a whole lot better (totally drugged).

IS it just me or does time really flies? Just a week ago, I was on the way back from KL (thats where my fever started).....then we were busy preparing for Pam's wedding from friday night onwards. Came this week, I was on mc monday & tuesday, sleeping most of the time - I know.....what a way to start the new year huh??!! But I guess thats the only way I could rest before my schedule gets really busy again.

I was away from my cubicle for 2 weeks....I was definitely flying high in Heaven! *smiles*

Did I wake up late? Not really...I was up and going by 10am....getting ready to play with my tiny cousins and lazing around the house. Now am back to my confined work space, wishing I could work from home concentrating on my business.

Well I'll save all the jazzy story for another day....it is indeed a new year afterall.

Perhaps a fresh outlook on my career path?

Or a more positive mindset?

We'll have to work on that Sharon! *eyes rolling*

Yea, slight flu with irritable cough.

My body is screaming for R-E-S-T!!!

I have the craziest schedule and year end doesnt make it better. How did I end up being sooo busy? Absolutely no idea. I thought I could rest last weekend @ Jazz Fest. We had a Family room in Bayview Beach and the bed was just amazingly comfy...ahhh! And crazy me slept around 3-4am and waking up rather early both days. Haiz!

....but as usual being at the Fest itself is a holiday for us....could not ask for more. Getting mesmerized by the talented musicians, watching their technical skills , in awe of their deep passion for music, being with friends who share the same liking....... is definitely a good way to relax.

2 Months..

...Since I last step into Kerry's Hip hop class.

Missed it soo much.

But I went last night! Happiness. And now my muscles a lil sore. LOL!

Nothing beats being in the studio to sweat it out and enjoying every moment. Stress-Free!

After class we went for a drink. Milo Peng and Kopi Peng! Halfway thru I remembered on tuesdays there's pasar malam @ Tanjung Bungah....so finished our drinks quickly and gatai us were happy to be on the way to a Pasar Malam....hehe. Just like lil kids.

And as we're approaching TB, it started to rain....heavy enough to need an umbrella-ella-ella-eh eh. Haih! Of all days, the one day we wanted to be there rain pulak! But that didnt stop crazy us to still find stalls that are opened. LOL!

Kerry bought asam (er, as crazy as it sounds...that was her dinner), then Keropok udang & Ubi and Kerry even bought a pair of shades. Well that was all the stalls available for us to raid. After spending like 30 mins? we drove all the way back to Green Lane. Oh and on the way I wanted to try Uncle Burger...so I bought one. YUMS!

And thats all from our empty pasar malam story. Maybe next tuesday we'll be luckier? Maybe a bowl of Laksa lemak......*drool*

Having overly sweet mee goreng

Raymond introduce us to this place. Apparently their Mee Sultan? (or something like that) is very famous and worth the try. I must say its overly sweet...its sugar sweet in our mee goreng. I shared with Sheryl and was struggling to finish. By the third mouth we were feeling a lil yucky and gross by how sweet it was. But but...the coconut shake and 'gu leng peng' was super yummy!

Sorry for the poor quality of pics. Smarty me forgot to put the memory card back into my cam.

After lunch the boys wanted to hang out at the park. So hello swings, sea-saws & slides. Big buffalo's riding on em..LOL!

Am so so so so so terribly busy...

With what?? With Greeen Bananas

Late night sleep for almost a month, waking up early to go to work! Tired but Greeen Bananas is satisfying......finally my own baby, so willing to put in the extra hours.

Cleaned my room till 12.30am last night(mind you, it is not finished yet), took blardy 6 hours....gosh thats alot of garbage and dust. Anyways its a busy today. Do stop by Green Bananas, so wanna do this FULL TIME!!

What a day

It was cloudy Tuesday.

I really felt like I needed company but most of my friends could not make it for lunch.......One of those days where everybody is not available and you desperately need em. So I went to church and spend some time with God. He definitely was a good company...Thank You God!

Gist of it, I was feeling down the whole day.

....till evening came and it was time for Hip-Hop. I always lose myself in Dance studios, for a moment there I forgot the issues I had and just enjoyed. Pure JOY! After class, myself and Kerry went for a drink....just some 'teh peng' and 'kopi peng' to cool ourselves down.

Had a good time laughing. Girl, you are so bubbly....always smilling. After a tough day, this was a nice way to end the night. Of coz we had to capture some moments to blog....LOL!

Kerry girl, did I forget to mentioned that I absolutely adore snapping pics. Love capturing moments!!
